Our hearts are broken for the lives lost and the families forever changed by the tragic and horrific attack that took place in Bondi on Sunday the 14th of December. TRUEU World is raising funds to provide direct financial support to the families of those who lost their lives, during a time of unimaginable grief. Every donation received through this fundraiser will be distributed evenly and entirely to the families of the deceased, to support them in whatever way they need most, whether that be funeral and memorial costs, immediate living expenses, or the ability to take time away from work to grieve without financial pressure.

100% of all donations will go directly to the families.

TRUEU World’s Directors have committed to personally covering all administrative and operational costs associated with this fundraiser. For full transparency, transfers to the families will be documented so donors can have absolute confidence that every dollar donated reaches those it is intended to support.

Why This Matters So Deeply to Us

While TRUEU World operates globally, our home is in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. This Tragedy has occurred in the heart of our own community, the places we live, work, and gather with our families. Like so many others, we are feeling the weight of this loss not just as a charity, but as neighbours, friends, and members of a community in mourning. As reported, 15 people have lost their lives, including a 10-year-old child, and 42 people were taken to hospitals across Sydney, including four children. The scale of this violence has left families, first responders, and the wider community deeply traumatised.

This is our community, and now more than ever, we are calling on one another to stand united as one. These are our streets, our beaches, our shared spaces. When something like this happens so close to home, it reinforces our responsibility to show up, to act with compassion, and to support those who are now facing life without their loved ones.

Honouring Courage, Compassion, and Humanity

Amid this tragedy, we also honour a hero, the extraordinary bravery shown on the day. Ahmed Al Ahmed, a bystander who risked his own life to disarm one of the attackers, saving countless lives. This reminds us that even in moments of darkness, humanity, courage, and selflessness still exist.
